A space to actually slow down

Train hard. Recover harder.

Located just outside Attleborough in Snetterton, our recovery suite combines contrast therapy, heat therapy and relaxation in one private space.

Recovery is where the work actually sticks. Better sleep, less soreness, calmer nervous system, fewer niggles turning into proper injuries. Our recovery room is built to make all of that easy.

Sessions are forty five minutes. Long enough to do a proper contrast cycle through the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, with time to slow down on a lounger or pop the compression boots on. Short enough to fit before work, between meetings or after training.

You can book solo for a quiet reset, with a partner for a proper date night, or grab the whole room with up to five friends.

Why book the recovery room

Why use our sauna and cold plunge?

Forty five minutes in the recovery room is a proper bit of self care. For athletes, for desk workers, for parents, for anyone who feels a bit wrung out by life.

Sore muscles, gone

Heat, cold and compression all help muscles recover faster after training, so you bounce back ready for the next session.

Calmer head

Forty five minutes off your phone, away from the noise. A proper reset for a busy brain, not just a tired body.

Better sleep

Regular sauna and cold plunge use is linked to deeper, more restorative sleep. Train, recover, sleep, repeat.

Better circulation

Contrast bathing pumps blood through your system, helping flush out the gunk and bring fresh oxygen to working tissue.

More resilience

A few minutes in the cold plunge is uncomfortable, on purpose. You leave a little tougher than you walked in.

Skin, joints, mood

Heat opens pores, cold soothes joints, both lift your mood. Recovery that feels good while it is doing you good.

Book a session

Sauna, plunge, hot tub, repeat.

Forty five minutes in the recovery room. Long enough to actually feel it. Short enough to fit around your day.

What’s included in the recovery suite?

Everything you need for a full contrast session.

One private suite, kitted out properly. Heat, cold, soak, squeeze, rest. Cycle through it however suits you.

How long is a session?

Forty five minutes. Long enough for a proper contrast cycle through the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, with a bit of lounger time at the end.

How many people can book at once?

Up to six people per booking slot. Come on your own, as a couple, or grab the whole room with a small group of friends. Each person books their own spot.

What times can I book?

Hourly slots from 6am, with the last booking at 8pm. There is almost always a time that works around training, work or family.

What is in the recovery room?

A sauna that comfortably fits four, a hot tub that fits up to four, a single person cold plunge, two loungers and two pairs of compression boots. There is also a changing room with a walk in shower.

What should I bring?

Swim kit, a towel and a bottle of water. That is genuinely it. Get changed in the changing room when you arrive and rinse off in the walk in shower before or after.

I have never used a cold plunge. Is that ok?

Absolutely. Start with the sauna and hot tub to warm up, then ease into the plunge for as long as feels right. Even thirty seconds is a brilliant start.

Do I have to use everything?

Not at all. The room is yours for forty five minutes. Use what you fancy, sit on a lounger and breathe if you do not. There is no programme to follow.

Can I use the compression boots?

Yes. There are two pairs in the room. Slip them on while you rest on a lounger and let them do their thing. Brilliant for tired legs after running, cycling or a heavy gym session.

Is there anyone who should not use the recovery room?

Heat, cold and compression are generally safe and well tolerated, but if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, low or high blood pressure, or any other medical concern, please check with your GP first and let us know on arrival.

What are the benefits of sauna and cold plunge?

Alternating between heat and cold, often called contrast therapy, has become increasingly popular with athletes and anyone looking to improve their wellbeing. Time in the sauna helps your muscles relax, encourages blood flow and can ease feelings of stiffness after training or a long day at work. Following this with a cold plunge creates a refreshing contrast that many people find helps them feel more alert and ready to take on the rest of the day.

Regular sauna use is also associated with better relaxation and improved sleep quality, making it a great addition to an evening routine. Whether you’ve completed a tough workout, spent hours at a desk or simply need a break from the pace of everyday life, taking time to slow down can help reduce stress and give both your body and mind a chance to recover.

Our recovery suite near Attleborough combines a sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, compression boots and comfortable loungers, giving you everything you need to enjoy a complete recovery session in one peaceful, private space.
